Fieldtrip to National Science Center

Holiday is here since a week ago!! As we are not planning for any getaways, I am preparing for some field trips and activities. Other than the Barney's Live experience, we are going to the National Science Center next, which I latter found out that there was an adventure of The Age of Giants (Dinosaurs) sort of like exhibition. Well, it wasn't really an exhibition but rather a fun-learning or edu-taining exposure about Dinosours.

In fact, this field trip was initiated by our best friends Yvonne & Leon (nevertheless Jayden's best friend Lucia too). The outing was a fantastic one as the BFF kids enjoyed the field trip so much and both of them had so much fun together.

After the trip, we went for a Korean lunch and the food was superb. The restaurant name is Doerae @Sri Hartamas and I'm already planning for the next dining at their branch at Bdr Puteri Puchong, which is much nearer to my place.

Dinner @Xenri

After many many months disappearing from Xenri, finally we went back for the yummy Japanese buffet.. Nevertheless, Japanese food has always been Jayden's favorite of all. :o)

1st Cinema Visit

After a long wait, we have our first cinema visit, well it's Jayden's first movie to be exact, and our first cinema visit after 2 years of waiting!!!

The very first show Jayden watched in a cinema was Harry Potter!! :o) Wow!! We have "potter" our life!! Hahaha..

Jayden had been watching attentively for the first hour, sitting without moving and seemed like he was enjoying the show. Guess something has finally spiking his butt that he started asking to leave.

Daddy sacrified his movie time by bringing him out for a brisk walk. I think they came back after 15-20minutes. But this time Jayden was not as peaceful as before, he had been asking to leave every now and then. We tried to trick and pacify him with popcorn, drinks and soft candy to engage him with movie. It lasted a fair while before he asked Daddy for a walk again.

They came back after I don't know how long, but this time is worst. Jayden totally refused to sit so he was standing (not on the chair!) and I tried to drop the bottle and got him to search for it. :P It successfully stole a bit of his time. And finally, I showed him those video clips of him that I recorded on my phone. And it kept him lasted till the show ended! Yay!!!!

Since he didn't shout or make loud noise in the cinema.. I would say our first movie outing is considered a SUCCESSFUL one!! :o)

Hunting for Furniture

Today is a working Sunday for us!! We have been visiting so many furniture and mattress outlets to check and compare prices for furnitures and mattress for our new home!!! We've gotten all excited that the developer is going to release our keys really soon, hence started to source for some nice stuffs to fit and design our home sweet home.

We've visited a few outlets during the first half of the day, but is just wasn't really fruitful. After our lunch, we headed back home so Jayden could take his afternoon nap. Once he woke up, we went visiting again.. For some reasons, Daddy decided to follow the banner that we saw while driving to our initial destination.

Instead of sourcing for our heartfelt pieces and comparing prices, we ended up selecting almost all that we need and paid for downpayment!!! Actually the purchase has covered 80-90% of all the furnitures we needed, and well, more than what we initially thought we will buy after comparing.

Having said that, we are quite happy with what we bought and it is one step closer to our home sweet home. Guess the next we should be looking at are the electronics and electrical items. I really can't wait for the house key.. and definitely more excited about moving in!!! :o)
