JJ has been doing this activity (self discovery) for the passed few weeks.. And today he demonstrates to me that he can do more that going one way, which he normally does.
Today he shows me how he can navigate his vehicle (the chair!!). :P

Gimme Gimme!
JJ took my hand, opened it up, and put a toy on my hand! Wow!! I can't believe it's happening! I feel so great when he did that to me.. Hehehe.. :P
I wish I had a videocam ready and video all these precious beautiful moments.. capturing new exploration and skills.. Well, I am just not ready to be on standby mode all the time.. :P
JJ also starts to understand sentence, or relation between words.. Whenever I said "give me", he will hand me whatever on his hand.. But now, instead of saying "give me", I add a few words.. I'd say "give me the ball", and JJ will look at the ball, reach out his hand to take the ball, and then pass it to me. It works not all the time, but almost everytime! :)

Fever & Diarrhea
These few days have been really tough for JJ. He is having fever and diarrhea, and it's getting more and more intensive I think. Fever is controlable whenever I give him paracetamol. But the diarrhea seems to get a little more frequent as time goes by. Today he has about 7-8times of poo poo.. I lost count on the exact times.. which is very different from his normal routine, which is consistently 1 time, or maximum 2-3times a day.. :(
I have a strong feeling that this could be a sign of teething, I am not sure. But I am further convinced by his behavior. Normally when he is unwell, he will look rather tired especially after taking medicine, though he will still be as active as normal time. This time around, even after he took medicine, he didn't look tired at all and he is just as active as who he is. This is point one.
Point two is, he starts biting me, not really hard bite but more like teasing and being cheeky. I think that's his way of telling me that his gums are itchy.. yes?? no?? Well, it's more than being cheeky today, there are couples of times that he bit harder. Ouch!! :'( I can feel that he is throwing a little tantrum due to his uncomfort. :(
Especially when I was feeding him just now, he bit me a lil' harder than before but he knew he did something wrong, he showed me a guilty face! But I was too shocked and it did hurt me a bit so I screamed a lil' and told him firmly not to bite me. As sensitive as he is, he felt hurt and cried. Well, then I'm further reconfirmed that he should be having sore gums and it must be painful for him.
Why am I so sure? Because if he wasn't feeling uncomfortable, he would give me his cheeky look whenever I "so-called" scolded him, and he would then try his best to cheer me up by pretending nothing happened. :P Hmmm.. I miss my cheeky lil' boy.. :'(
I still have point three.. Point three is, he bites all his soft toys!! It's definitely different from the times he mouth everything.. It's really totally different!
Point four is he was complaining to me just now.. Yes, whenever he feels unwell, unhappy, uncomfortable or dislikes, he will tell me. Before he dozed off just now, he was telling me that he is not comfortable.. How can I understand him? Don't ask, that's by experience! :P Well, simply because he took BLUEY, his fav plush that he is dearly attached to now, and bites BLUEY so many times so show me that his gums are painful and sore. :*( Well, I am glad that he finally dozed off now, of course with his sleeping partner BLUEY. :)
So... Teething?? I seriously think so.. I really hope JJ will get his teeth soon so it's all will be over asap. It's such a torturing experience for both of us. :'(

In Love with Plush from Unca Nic, Aunty Su and Xavier GorGor
JJ fell in love with the plush toy present from Uncle Nicholas, Aunty Sumana and Xavier GorGor. Since the day we showed it to him, he has been hugging the plush to sleep whenever he goes to bed or nap. It is soooo cute!! :)
Oh by the way, we have the plush named BLUEY.. as it is BLUE in color! :) Check out "their" nap time picture! :P

Pro Drummer
Just in a few days time, Jayden has already became an expert drummer.. of course playing the musical spinning drum that bought for him as his birthday present. LOL!!
Jayden not only master the skill of beating the drum, but also spinning the drum as well as pushing the buttons to skip or switch to another song etc. Not just that, he can also play the drum upside down!!! Muahaha!! :P
Attached is a video that I just recorded.. too bad can't really see him pushing the switch buttons, but you definitely can hear the switching of musics, that means he just pushed the button!! :P

Baby Massage
Three weeks ago, we were invited by a friend to go for a baby massage class in Shah Alam. It is an opening of a new branch of a daycare center and we just go there to show support as well as to have some fun.
The moment we reached the center, Jayden was observing every corner of the place. Once we put him on the floor, he started with a little shyness, not long after that, he started crawling all over the place. I cornered him to a small cubicles with lots of toys on the low rise racks.
He started standing up and exploring the toys. Yup, he enjoyed himself very very much with the variety of toys and he refused to go when we wanna carry him upstairs for the baby massage session. :P
During the baby massage session, Jayden was too busy exploring the place as well as the people around thus we missed the massage session with Jayden. But it is OK, Jayden has lots of fun! :)

Jayden's 1st Birthday Cake
First of all, I would like to thank Faith for baking such a nice yummy eggless milkless butterless moist chocolate cake with fondant. Nevertheless, I love the cute design.. Not just that, at Jayden's birthday party, adults admired it, kids loved it!
Everyone was taking picture of the cake and the photo session took about an hour to finish. Hehe. Even my MIL who doesn't like to eat cake had a few servings of the cake and said she really likes to eat the cake! Wow!
Another more amazing discovery about the cake, I just found out that having this cake frozen is really really good!!! It tastes almost like cookies and cream ice cream, the texture is surprisingly soft enough to spoon - a little harder than normal ice cream but definitely softer than scooping Ben&Jerry and so on.. Hehehe.. I think it should taste better if it has fresh cream to go with! :P

Present Time
Finally.. finally.. finally.. we had our long waited Presents Time!!! We were sooooooooo excited!!! And had lotsa fun unwrapping the presents one by one.. I was having loads of fun!! Opps..
Well.. there are about 20presents if I am not mistaken. And I am glad that each of them are different from one another. Thus, there isn't any repeating toys like we used to receive during Jayden's fullmoon party. Hehe..
And the second happiest person is me (after Jayden :P ) because all the presents received are of those that I planned to buy for Jayden. It is surprisingly matching what I had in mind seriously, so I don't have to buy any of them now. It's saving me lots of bucks!!! Hehehe.. :P

Bathroom Visits
Lately JJ always crawls into the bathroom!!! Not because he wanna pee or poo, but simply because he wanna play with water and his bathing buddies!!
Obviously, JJ has developed a massive interest in water "playing" and so I am super excited too.. how much I wish he loves water so we can swim together. I am yet to bring JJ to swim together with me, and I wonder how long it's gonna take for him to be easy with water.. I really can't wait to throw him into the pool, with or without the floats and swim gears.. :P
I'm planning to start bringing him to the pool once he masters the art of walking.. A couples of months to go??? Perhaps just a month or two.. Hehehe.. :P
