Thunderstorm!

There's a storm right now and Jayden's hands cover both sides of his ears whenever he sees lightning, sorta like expecting thunders to follow.. :o)

Mommy: Wow.. You know thunders come after lightning! Smart boy! Who teach you to cover your ears with your hands?

JJ: Mommy.. Mommy.. close JJ ear.. (means Mommy uses hands to cover his hands usually)

Now I know where he learns that from! :o)

Story Telling

Wow!! JJ is busy flipping & story telling the pages of a book that he picks from the shelf!! It's the first time I hear him story tell!! I found it cute and funny how he made up his own stories.. It is ever so amazing!! :o)

A bite on the face..

Today is Jayden's unlucky day!! He got bitten by his classmate, Maximus.. According to the teacher, they were both playing and apparently they are playing the opposites. "Whatever Jayden does, Maximus will do the opposite" said the teacher.

It finally comes to a scene whereas Jayden closes the door of the playhouse, while Maximus opens it. It was ongoing for a few rounds until suddenly, Maximus jumps out and bites our little friends..

Cries and tears fill the room since then on.. And when I got to school to pick him up, I notice that he had a tattoo (teeth bite) on his eye corner. I am still gratitude that Maximus didn't bite him on the eyes else things could be fatal. :o(

Counting..

Jayden has no problem counting in sequence correctly from 1-10. However, recently that he learns beyond 10, from 11 onwards.. his sequence from 5-7 got messed up.. Nevertheless I attempt to remind him everytime I hear it.. It is slowly getting back on track.. :o)

1, 2, 3,........10, 11, 12, 14... Opps.. where is 13??? He always missed out number 13.. and lately 15 too! :P

Wean Off @32 Months

Finally.. I have weaned off Jayden when he was about 32months. It's all started about 2 weeks ago that I decided to try not to breastfeed him at night. Surprisingly, it worked out quite well and Jayden didn't ask for milk. Perhaps he was too full as I fed him a lot of food prior to sleep. Hehe..

It went on for a 2days, and I started feeding him again as he was sick!! There were couples of times he puked after drinking oatmilk+protein (well, I have been supplementing him with oatmilk + green tea protein for almost a year now). Never really got to find out the reasons behind the pukes, maybe it's due too overeating?? Anyways, since he didn't puke two times in a row and was eating as usual, I didn't take much notice.

Then, I started weaning him off again last week.. and it went perfectly well! Sometimes he would still ask for milk but I told him that mommy didn't have milk anymore and he would respond with a simple Okay! I am gratitude!! :o)

By now, I think I have weaned him off successfully for 7-10days, I have lost track! :P Even so, I am very happy with the result and guess what, my breasts do not engorge anymore, so I assume the milk production has stopped ever since.

No longer breastfeeding my son gives me a weird feeling somehow.. I guess I miss the days of breastfeeding though it was really exhausting..
