Feverish

On Friday, JJ was having high fever. I was a little panicky as to not knowing why he was having fever. Then, Daddy reminded me that Jayden was teething. Phew!

I thought the fever would last for about 2-4days but this time, the fever has been very kind to us. It went off in a day. I am glad that it wasn't a serious one and my little baby is well again! :o)

Jayden's First Complete Sentence

This evening at 8.30pm marks Jayden's first time talking in a complete sentence. I was calling Daddy to ask him about something and as Jayden figured that out, he insisted he wanna talk with Daddy.

His will was soon granted once I was done. Jayden was talking a lot of Daddy, most of the time we didn't know what he was talking about. He would always start with Daddy.. bluer jshdk riuks shifykf kshfiyei (means I dunno what he was saying!). :P

Then, I suggested to him why not he asks daddy to come back. So he started saying "Daddy.. come back". Daddy said he would definitely come back later.. We both (daddy and mommy) were laughing.. Then I told Jayden to say "daddy come back now" thinking he wouldn't be able to finish that sentence as he never said 'now' and usually won't get it the first shot.

Indeed, he surprised me by saying smoothly "Daddy, come back now!" I was amazed and amused.. and for sure, he caught Daddy by surprise too and Daddy just didn't know what to reply him but laugh.. :o)

I didn't know that hearing him saying the first sentence could be so exciting. Hehe.. I guess I must have waited so long for him to talk in sentences.. :o)

Swimming Lesson with New Instructor

Last Sunday marks the day Jayden started his very first swimming lesson with the new instructor Jordan.

Jordan is a local swimming coach/instructor that has a totally different set of believes in training children to swim. He uses a more subtle way rather than forcing Jayden to "drown" (instead of swim) totally unprepared which happened to the British instructor that we had before.

I am very happy that our first lesson turned out totally awesome! Jayden enjoyed his lesson so much. Throughout the lesson, he was spending time with us all the time, as the instructor only observed from time to time from the side, and told us what to do next, from time to time.

I was so surprised that Jayden refused to leave the pool in the end of the lesson which was totally contradicting with his experience with the previous instructor. After the lesson, we could stay on for an extra 15min so we brought him to the children pool. You wouldn't believe this but he totally was in love with it after knowing his feet could reach the bottom of the pool!!! I would never forget the expression on his face when he first stood on the children pool. :o)

Next day, he held his swimming suit and told me "ngo oi".. Then I asked him if he wanna go swimming and he said while nodding his head "hmmm.. ngo oi". Isn't it awesome!! :o)

Even though the location of the swimming lessons is considerably inconvenient and far from our house, it is still worth the effort. :o)

Wonderful 2011

Days by days pass by and it is almost the end of Chinese New Year.

Personally, I enjoy every moments of these two months since we stepped into year 2011. As a matter of fact, I have had wonderful time since stepping into 01.01.2011.. Enjoying every bit of it especially spending time with loved ones and close friends.. Hubby has also gotten so much time for us due to the long holidays that he had during CNY. I truly hope that everyday will remain like this especially having hubby with us everyday.

Jayden has grown up so much and he has been a cute lovely chatterbox!! He talks so much that a lot of times I don't know what he is talking about, but it seems like he enjoys talking even just to the air. Not just that, now he can even play with children his age (I mean play "together"/wanting to play with other children) and no longer a lone ranger that plays on his own. By now, he can even recognize his friends especially Lucia. He gets really excited when I told him that we are going to meet Lucia JieJie. I believe this is also a sign of readiness for school. :o)

What's more? A year with a great start!! It is definitely a great year for us!! :o)

Decreasing Breastmilk

Lately, I feel Jayden has been drinking very little breastmilk. Not just that, most of the time he would say 'mou jor nai nai' (means no more milk). I guess the milk flow has really decreased a lot since he is much grown up now and will need more milk.

This is further proven to be true as he has been waking up 2-3 times a night these few days. It's too exhausting for me!! Meanwhile, I am very glad that he can take soymilk now, as this will mean he has another source of protein and essential nutrients whenever he decided to stop being nursed.. :o)

Little Kitchen Helper

This morning, while I was doing the preparation for lunch, Jayden attempted to play water at the basin. To stop his water play, I invited him to help me to put those cut vegetables into a bowl. He did as requested.. Then he said.. "d.i.r.t.y"!!

Oh boy oh boy!! Tis little helper is still a newbie.. Hehehe. .:P

Opps!! Eggs!!!

I am currently undergoing a training to be a qualified instructor for Helen O'Grady Drama Class. After my co-teaching yesterday, I hurriedly brought Jayden to buy our dinner as it was running late.

Jayden insisted to have noodles for dinner. Hence, I tapau 'gon chau hor' for dinner thinking that the last time we had it was quite nice. When I served it on a plate and... Alas!!! There's egg!! Oh no.. I forgot to inform the cook to opt out the egg..

As it was getting late and so not to waste the food, I let Jayden have the noodles, trying my best to remove all the traces of eggs that I spotted. At the same time I was taking this chance to test Jayden's allergy on eggs.

Today, I found that the skin around his chin and legs are rough, while his left neck is a little red. Otherwise, all is well. I am excited and happy!! This shows that his tolerance has definitely grown up much higher, considering the eggs are not well cook!! Perhaps we will be able to have eggs in our meals very very soon. :o)

Opps.. Accident!!!

Throughout these two months, Jayden has gotten minor accidents (wee wee) quite infrequently. I guess in total... shouldn't be more than 5 times, if my memory doesn't fail me. :P

However, there had been 2 major accidents (poo.. yucks!!) which weren't pleasurable at all!!! The first time was about a month ago (can't remember, but it wasn't long after JJ was potty trained) that he did it in the hair salon! It was a really embarrassing and messy one. It was all over the salon as Jayden was moving about trying to avoid those "treasures".

The second time was.. this morning!!!! He did it in my car!! Thank God I was quick enough that I managed to carry him down the car before the thing fell out from his pants. "It" landed on the side of my car (at the foot area where the door closes), then another two patches on the ground. Yuck!!!

Despite all the YUCKS, I am still thankful that 'it' didn't land in my car.. Else I will surely have a hard time cleaning it. Phew..

Until now, I still don't understand why he didn't tell me.. Or he had tried to tell me but I was ignorant? Perhaps, as I was listening to the radio.. I have to be more alert in the future... And I hope that is it for the accidents.. NO MORE!!

Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year!!! Gong Xi Fatt Cai!!! This is Jayden's 3rd CNY!!

Another year's gone by.. Wow.. Jayden is 2+ now, it's so amazing how much he has outgrown the little baby whom I once held with only one arm!!

We went back hometown Ipoh on CNY1 and it was a blessing that we embarked early, else we will be joining the massive traffic if only we left 1.5hours late. As usual, we visited my grandparents on CNY1, other visits to be continued on CNY2.

However, our CNY2 turned out to be a relaxing a.k.a. boring one this year as Jayden was down on high fever on CNY2. We ended up spending the whole day in the hotel nursing my feverish little baby. We came back to KL on CNY3 while the fever was still fierce.

Thank God that on CNY4, the fever is totally gone but the flu and cough followed. Dang!!! To make the matter worse, the bugs had been highly contagious and they'd gotten Daddy down. Mommy is still fighting the battle now.. Let's hope all of us will win over the bugs.. :o)
