Mini Crawl

I placed some of his favorite toys in fron tof J today.. slightly far from his reach.. and YES.. finally J was showing me his little mini crawl today!!! He pushed himself upward by using both of his arms, and pushed himself forward by using his legs.. And he looked sooooooooooo cute!!!!

I was so happy and excited to see his new attained skills, so to make sure that it wasn't just an illusion optic, I repeated the same thing again.. Guess what, again he showed me what he's got!!! He made another mini crawl forward!!!

I am so excited to see him take mini steps (by crawling of cuz) to get the toys.. I think he is not far from crawling.. hehe.. :)

Turning in the CradleNet

Another new Discovery...

J turns 360degree which he was inside the cradle net. He used to turn upside down.. but within a short period as a few weeks time, he propelled himself to a new stage.. Yes, he has been doing that since yesterday and today too..

Not just that, I notice that he tried to lift his head and pull himself up to sitting position.. Well, it is yet to be successful.. He did get himself lifted at 45degree.. Hehe.. :P

Allergy Report

The allergy report is finally out. Obviously, it shows that J is allergic to egg. There might be possibilities that J could be allergic to milk, but we are yet to test it out manually.

Umm.. why manually? Isn't all stated in the report? Yes.. I had the same thought too. When we were talking to the doc in the hospital, he said that J might be allergic to other food which is reported to be not, and vice versa.

I was like what the #^*@? Then, what's the point of taking the allergy test if the accuracy level is so low and afterall, anything that is reported might be false?

Later, I found out from a friend that allergy test is just a waste of money. I shouldn't have taken the allergy test though. It is a waste of time, waste of money and waste of blood!!!

Highly discourage anyone to go for this test. You might as well just test it manually through time.

Hair Pulling

Today, J has his first pull on my hair!! He should have known it hurts.. Well, despite the fact that he doesn't have much hair yet, I wonder how long it is gonna take for him to realize this pain that Mommy is having whenever he pulls my hair. :(

Previously, he has been very gentle. Instead of pulling, he would gently stroke my hair strands. I thought he was such a gentle baby!!! Not until what I experienced today.. My little boy is turning naughty.. Hmmm..

Bad Egg

Yesterday I was having cheese baked rice @ a restaurant in Mid Valley. I didn't realize that the rice underneath the cheese was fried rice with eggs! By the time I realized it, it was already too late as I have half-finished the serving.


The result I was concerning about showed up today. J's rashes increased on his face and some tiny bits on his arms and shoulders. J's skin condition has got so much better lately and I just couldn't accept that it's coming back again. I am so upset. :(

I can't wait any longer for the test report for the allergy test that has been done since the last time J was admitted. Thank God the appointment with the consulting Doc is tomorrow. I really can't wait to know the result so I can take the right action to prevent the food that we shoould not take.

Runny Nose

I am worried!!

It has been so many days J suffers from runny nose and it still hasn't gone away. There were signs that J is getting better but for some reasons out of the sudden the mucous will start flowing down from his nostrils. It has been like this for few days now and I really hope it will leave J alone!!

It's really not easy and it causes so much discomfort for J, I know cuz he's hardly as cheerful as before and he is a bit cranky too. I don't like to see J like this.. It makes me sad. :(

Anyone know any quick effective solution to stop the flu like immediately?

Disappearing Rashes

Good News!!

It's been a constant good few days since last Friday till yesterday because the rashes somehow subsided.. I don't know what I have done right, but since last Thursday I have been doing the following:

1. Put Ionizer in my room
2. Feed J with the olive extract (2 times/day)
3. Feed J with mom's ginseng powder (2 times/day)
4. Feed J with Eu Yan Sang Boh Ying Compound (1/2 bottle)
5. Apply lotions and emulsifying cream on the affected areas

The result was undeniably very encouraging and I think the rashes should be gone in no time. Fingers cross the rashes will be gone forever!!! :)

Learning Curve for Parents

It's been a while I didn't note down anything here about J. It has been a hectic and worrisome moment for the these two weeks. J was admitted on July 5, 2009 due to high fever and thank God for the speed recovery, J is discharged from the hospital on July 7, 2009. It's the most heartbreaking moment that I have to go thru at that time. Seeing the tortures and suffers that JJ had to go thru wasn't easy for us. Despite lots of tears had flown, JJ still smiled, played and chuckled like the usual trademark JJ, which brought to us a lot of JOYS and.... PHEWS!!!

Yesterday, J caught a cold. It was really my bad. We went to the bank and it was closing. Thus, we were stucked in the bank to get some errands done. However, it was freezing cold in there, and being a careless mommy, I never thought of getting JJ his blanket, despite JJ was wearing very little blothes. :(

As a result of my carelessness, JJ caught a cold. He has been in so much discomfort and it hasn't been a good night for all of us. Well, I learned my lesson and now I am praying for JJ quick recovery. Fingers cross...

J's Language

J definitely has his own language and ways of expressing himself. The two most prominent and obvious time when he deliberately using his language or ways of expressing what he wants are during napping time and meal time. :P

Even though he has just been using the baby cradle for less than a week, he knows that it is napping time whenever I put him into the cradle. That happens since the second day we bought the cradle!

Therefore, if he doesn't wanna sleep, he will make a fuss by twisting and turning in the cradle, not wanting to sleep. If that happens, there are only two possibilities:
(1) he wanna drink milk first, or
(2) he wanna play and not ready to sleep.

As for his meal time, J will say "Buu Buu" after eating a few spoons of porridge. That means he wants to drink a bit of water. So if I didn't switch, he will start blowing all the porridge out, to the extend he will shout and cry for water. And vice versa. :P

However, if tried both also he does the same thing, that means he is full. No more food for him! :P

Watermelon

Just now I tried giving J a little bite of watermelon. Looks like he likes watermelon but he was choking!!! Hmmm.. I should have made it not so chunky..

Anyway, I made watermelon juice for J after that.. mix one part of watermelon juice with three part of water. J enjoyed it very much and asking for more. :)

iBaby Electronic Cradle

First of all, I would like to thank my sister in law, Jasmine, for giving such a precious gift - iBaby Electronic Cradle - to my little precious.

I had been struggling to decide whether I wanna get an electronic baby cradle for little J since he needs me to swing him all the time. And due to this, my sister in law is good and thoughtful enough to buy J an iBaby electronic cradle.

I couldn't thank her more.. but I still need to say this: Thank you very much. :)
