TQ Barney

I would like to express my appreciation with a big Thank You to Barney!! Because of Barney, JJ is brushing teeth.

In my earlier post regarding JJ is finally brushing his teeth (Yay!!) I forgot to give credit to Barney's contribution. It is indeed and truly because of Barney's Pajama Party that JJ finally wants to (imitate the kids) brush his teeth.

Feverish

On Friday, JJ was having high fever. I was a little panicky as to not knowing why he was having fever. Then, Daddy reminded me that Jayden was teething. Phew!

I thought the fever would last for about 2-4days but this time, the fever has been very kind to us. It went off in a day. I am glad that it wasn't a serious one and my little baby is well again! :o)

Molar Has Come

Ding Ding Ding Ding... Finally.. Molar has come!!! Well in fact, Jayden is having two molars cutting through, one on each top gum. I am surprised despite all his others are still taking their own sweet time..

No wonder he has been biting, chewing and putting things into his mouth HELL A LOT!! It is fair enough that the big guys are coming thru.. Hopefully this will be an easy experience for our little friend here. :o)

5th tooth

Very soon.. I will not be counting Jayden's tooth I guess.. Hehehe.. About 3days ago, if I am not mistaken, Jayden has his 5th tooth cut through on his upper left gum. Finally, there is a tooth cutting without having to wait for the earlier tooth fully grown!! :P

Jayden has been drooling a lot again, I am very sure it is due to teething. He seems to be quite contented lately especially when he can bite some of the harder food with his two short-rows of mini teeth. :P

However, midnight wake-ups are too much troubles for mommy. 4days ago, Jayden was waking up like every hourly. Both mommy and Jayden suffered a lot. And due to that, mommy has been suffering from serious migraine for 4 freaking days and it is still not going away!!!! :(

I really hope the migraine will say bye bye to me asap!!!

4th tooth coming through..

I thought I saw the whitish stuff on his upper gum.. However, after numerous experiences with disappointment finding the tooth was not there, I wasn't as excited as before and have given up checking out Jayden's gum this time. "Perhaps it's just another illusion", I thought to myself.

I have totally forgotten about the whitish discovery last night. After coming back form BNI meeting, I am having the normal "ritual" with Jayden... that is... let's have fun!! :P

It is very obvious this time that I see a new baby tooth!! I am glad that finally the 4th is cutting through.. It's time for more good food!! :o)

Third Tooth @ 17 Months

Finally, at 17 months, Jayden is having his third tooth!! Yay!!!

His third tooth started to become obvious when we were out shopping for the Nikon D5000 today.. Right after Mommy confirmed the purchase, Mommy saw some white stuffs on Jayden upper gum..

Initially, Mommy was wondering if the white stuff is a tooth.. but for some reasons, Mommy assured herself that it must be an illusion, or perhaps it's just Jayden's saliva reflecting the light or something. However, there was an urge asking Mommy to take a second look.. and Voila!!! There was really a baby tooth!!! :o)

Ummm.. it has been a few months of waiting and finally the tooth is growing again!!! It seems like Jayden is going to continue his journey of more teeth growing.. :o)

More Teething???

I am guessing more teeth and the molars are coming up.. JJ has been soothing his gums with his fingers and hands (he almost eat the whole palm!!) for days with too much drooling.. saliva's dripping nonstop!! It must have hurted him so much that lately he has been having interrupted sleep.. Poor lil boy.. :S

While hubby and I were watching TV in the living room yesterday night, suddenly JJ woke up, went down the bed, walked out of the bedroom to the living room and make a calling sound looking for me!! I was shocked because this has never happened. Normally he would not wake up for milk for the first 4hours or more. But it was only barely 2hours after he slept. :S

Undeniably, he was having interrupted sleep throughout the night. He kept waking up and having hard time getting back to sleep. I felt so sorry for him hence I put him in the cradle to ease his sleep. Not too much of a wise idea because he caught a cold the next day! And now he is having slight fever. :o(

I feel so bad I hope and pray for a quick recovery..

Finally... A TOOTH!!!! :o)

Finally.. there is a tooth!

OMG.. finally his first incisor cut through at around 3pm today!! WOW!! :o)
We were at hubby's office during that time while Jayden and I were waiting in the car for daddy. While we were busy playing, suddenly I saw a fine blood cut on JJ's gum.. and my first expression was.. "Oh noooo.. did you cut yourself Jayden??"

In the next nanosecond, it came to my conscious that it could be a tooth!! I tried all my best to get JJ to smile and let me have a clear look at the cut! :P I was pretty confirmed it was a tooth, because it did show a bit of white stuff!!!! Hehehe..

About 30minutes to an hour later, I checked again and YAY!!! I saw a tooth emerging!! The white stuff is finally out!! Hahaha.. I was so happy and I put my finger (clean of course!!!) to get a feel if it's real and YES!! IT'S REAL!! :P It hurts too then he bites me.. hahaha..

I tried to take a picture of it but it is still not really visible in the photos. I might just wait another week so the tooth is more obvious.. perhaps there will be two by then??? I read that teeth come in pair!! :o)
