J has been going out on a daily basis since the day he turned 1month old.. Despite the fact that most people said he has quite fair complexion.. well, I wouldn't have realized how tanned J has become if I didn't come across his folds.. :P
I have always wonder why J is not as fair as mommy and daddy (used to be fair) and I never thought going out will sun-tan him so much.. I think this is mainly due to the un-tinted windscreens on the car..
Poor lil' J.. We should think about investing in tinting DD's car soon..

Tainted Love by DD
There is always a song that will sooth J.. and it always works.. that is "Tainted Love". I do not know who is the original singer, but DD always plays the Marilyn Manson's version.. And it seems like J just like it..
DD tried to play other singers' versions too.. and it works!!! Including DD's singing (just for this song)... :P
I wonder what's with this song that J likes so much.. I have never been listening to this song during my pregnancy.. nor did DD I think.. Hmmm...

Eating Solid - Organic Rice Cereal
Well, for the passed few days, Jayden has taken 2 rice rusks with breastmilk and finish the meal with breastfeeding.. From his respond, I think he quite enjoys it. When he is full, he will blow the rusk out from his mouth.. making things messy.. LOL! :)
Finally, I manage to buy rice cereal for J yesterday. :) It is an organic fruitty rice cereal and it's quite yummy.. Yes! I tasted it to make sure it is tasty.
J still doesn't know that taking rice cereal is a proper meal. Sometimes, he will cry so hard and refuse to have solid meal because he still couldn't relate that solid is a proper meal. Therefore, I do my best to prepare solid for him before he cries for milk, and that's the time that he will eat without making much fuss. :P
Now, J is having 4 teaspoon of rice cereal every meal and I am looking forward for him to have more! :)

J's First Solid
It's a Sunday noon and there isn't much to do since we didn't go out shopping. Since there is banana at home, I am thinking perhaps it would be good to try letting J having a little bit of banana.. this could be a great experience for him to try a little different taste. :P
Guess what, J vomits the moment I put some banana in his mouth!! Hahaha.. well, it's not like he vomits a lot of things, he just makes the vomit sound. I guess he is not used to strong taste yet.. shouldn't be he doesn't like it right? :P
We go to buy some rice rusks for J at Giant as his first solid and see how much he likes it. When we got home, we tried with half a biscuit.. Hmmm.. looks like he likes it!! I am gonna go to organic shop to buy some organic rice cereal for him soon.

Busy-Baby
I have summarized the things that I observe J doing lately and due to my busy-ness and lazy-ness, I didn't write them into readable blog until now. Hehe.. Finally, I have made up my mind to get them done today and get them posted. Here it goes...
Hands and Feet
J often amuses himself by his own hands and feet. He figures out that he can play with his own feet.. so every now and then, he will lift up both of his feet, play with them, and pull them towards his mouth. :P As a busy mommy, I have to make sure I wipe his feet clean every now and then to get him ready to mouth them. Haha..
Recognize Own Name
J starts to recognize his own name. Not only that, he is a busy-baby, he always turns towards voice and sound. He likes it when we make funny voices and new sounds. :)
Roll' Baby Roll'
J can now roll in both directions. Today, he performs a 360 degree rolling.. First, he rolls to his left side 360 degree, and about 10minutes later, he rolls backward (to his right side) 360 degree again!! It's amazing!! :)
Reach & Drag for Object
Carrying Jayden is harder than before as he learns to reach for objects now. He will lean forward to the object that he is attracted to and will stay in that position until his hands reached them. And then, he will drag and pull the object into his mouth. Even when I am not carrying him, he did it like so spontaneous that he will drag the objects, hold them in his hands and then push them into his mouth. So I have to keep an eye on him all the time. Busy Busy!!
Sit Without Support
J starts to be able to sit momentarily without support. Well, when I say momentarily, I mean it. It's just a little while before he falls to the side. LOL!!
Imitate Speech Sounds
Everyday, DD will be busy talking to J, and the things that DD always tells J is "pa pa". It seems like it's gonna take a little longer for J to catch up "papa" and "mama" but he did very well on saying "ai ya ya". I don't know where J learns it from, but he does always says "ai", "yaya" and "da da" and I heard him saying couples of times "ai ya ya" and "da da" today. Hehe.. How much I wish he will call "Mommy". :P
Strangers Anxiety
I am not sure if I feel it right, but lately, I found that J is having the symptoms of "strangers anxiety". We have been trying to avoid J to have such feeling by meeting a lot of friends and make sure J is having fun with people around him by carrying him and playing with him. I really hope J will not develop this anxiety or else we will have hard time coping with it. Must bring him out more often again. :P

Blood in Diaper!!! :(
I am so worried.. Blood in diaper at 8pm.. The next poo has more blood at 9pm.. All the paediatrician clinics were closed so we might as well just wait until the next day.
We went to Dr Koe's but she was not around and her nurses advised us to go to Dr Pauline. She checked J's anus and did some examinations on him. Well, it wasn't a good experience for little J, it hurts. :(
We went home to closely monitor J's diaper. Well, it was OK initially as the blood streaks appeared to be lesser than before. It seemed that the diaper was normal the next day. What a relief!! However, it came back the day after, and it is maroon color this time.. MY GOD!!
We thought it will be best to just observe a little longer and today the diapers are normal for already two days. I think things should be back to normal, maybe it is just due to heatiness (according to the older generations).

Little J.. The Conman
J has been repeatedly doing the same things over and over again. And without me realizing it, today I found out that he did that on purpose all the time!!!
The one that I wanna write down today is that J seeks for attention by pretending to be crying whenever he wants to be carried. Then when i put my hands on his arms (like going to lift him up) he will slow down his cries to check if I am really lifting him up.. if not he will cry harder.. else he will shut up and smile.. lol

Playing with Milk
Jayden is becoming more and more playful now.. He surprised me by playing with milk when I feed him. He will say 'ah buuuu..." while blowing all the milk from his mouth.. causing the milk all over his face.. and it's messy!!!
I was so surprised and at the same time amused.. and often times I will laugh.. perhaps he found that I am amused and liked the idea that he "buuuuu..." the milk, so he repeats it again and again. Sigh...
Guess it's time for me to be a little firm with this little boy of mine.. :)

Turn 'n' Turn
My little Jayden is growing up!! We bought him a few nice pieces of clothes and pants and yes, all of them are sleeveless because Jayden sweats a lot and he doesn't like the hot weather anyway.
Turn around has been a thing that Jayden does everyday, at least for couples of rounds each day. He is now training his arms muscles so they are strong enough to push himself higher. However, this impatient little baby ended up crying for help sometimes when one of his arms stucked underneath his heavy little body. A little bit of training will do the trick my son. :)
On the other hand, grasping things surrounding him is becoming a norm for him too. In the very early stage, about one or two month ago, he started off by pushing his head towards the object that he is interested in, practically use his mouth to reach the object and start licking and suckling the object. But lately, he has trained himself so well that he is getting more and more comfortable using his own hands.
Especially when I am carrying him, he will lean a little forward and his hands will reach the object and pull the object to his mouth, many times are without me knowing because it is not like a very obvious action that he is leaning over. He is such a cute little boy. :P

The "Calling"
I think Jayden can smell me.. and can recognize me. Sometimes when I am away doing laundry while he's sleeping inside the room, he will not cry when he wakes up. On the contrary, he will cry if he wakes up while I am bathing (there's an attached bathroom inside the room). So I believe he can smell me.. :P
Sometimes I found Jayden awake playing by himself when I enter the room, he will smile the moment he sees me.. nonetheless, sometimes I pretend it's ok to walk away so after smiling with him, I walk away from the room and assuming he will continue with his own things, but he will shout a few times (I know he is calling me!!!). If I still do not respond to him he will shout louder and ended up crying!! Hahaha..
What a funny baby.. I think he is spoilt.. Aih..

So Adorable
Jayden is making our day full of joys and happiness everyday. He learned so many new things and skills that he become so irresistable to anybody to carry and kiss him. :P
He amazes me by hugging me when i carry him, and sometimes he will hold my hand and pull towards him. Sometimes when we are lying down side by side, he will turn and hold me and pull himself over to be close to me. It's so comforting!!! :)
Seeing him improving in grasping and holding things is so touching, knowing my little cutie is growing up. Sometimes I feel so happy that I almost burst into tears. :-)
Well, he also learn some really cute and funny stuffs.. When he is not in a good temper, be it due to his discomfort or sleepiness, he will shout at my ears when I carry him close to me, and when I hold him facing me, he will blow saliva on my face!!! Haha... he is so funny.. I know he didn't mean it, it's just something new that he learned, and I find him so cute.. Haha.. :P

Buuut.. Farting Sound..
Three days ago, I found that J is amused by the sounds of fart!! I was trying to imitate the sound of his fart and he liked the sound. So, whenever I am out of ideas how to sooth him when he is crying, I will make some farting sound to amuse him.
He has been watching me doing it couples of times, especially during our play time. I enjoy our play time a lot.. watching him giggling and chuckling and laughing really made my day..

Trip to Genting Highland
It's a long weekend so we went to Genting Highland for a short trip - away from the hot weather in KL. It's J first time going for a holiday and we're so excited!!
The weather was so good during our stay in Genting Highland. J enjoyed himself very much and guess what, I think he enjoyed the weather a lot too. There isn't any scratching during our stay there. And better, his face was so smooth and all the rashes were gone!!!
Yesterday when we're at the park (outdoor), J didn't make any noise of being cold even though it was quite windy and chilly. He smiled and laughed a lot too.. so I further re-confirmed that he likes the chilly weather.. Haha.. :)
We only took very very few pictures due to my carelessness - forgot to charge the camera battery!! Worse, the battery icon was blinking the moment we turned it on. Dang!! Well, thanks to the phone camera, we still manage to take some low resolution shots. :P

Attractive :)
It's Labor Day today and mom didn't cook. Therefore, we went to have out lunch at Ipoh Chicken Rice @ Sri Petaling.
While having our lunch, there was a family of Indians next to our table. A few of them have been staring at Jayden throughout our lunch.
Almost at the end of our meal, suddenly an Indian lady from the family came to me and asked "Can I just carry him for a while.. he is too cute that I want to carry him>."
I was like.. "Err.. sure..."
It was such an experience that I didn't know whether I should let her carry my son, due to the pandemic disease going around (swine flu). But on the other hand, it is so hard to say NO to a decent lady who came harmless and just ask for a hug with the baby..
Well.. I am glad that J has such an attraction.. Hehe.. :P
