9 Months!!!

Today, my little J oficially turns 9 months!! Oh my God.. time flies so quickly..

There are so many little achievements and skills J has mastered by now and I just don't have the time to put them down recently due to busy schedule..

This morning I came across an article highligted that drinking water from a cup is an advanced skill that a baby will master when they turn 11-12 months old. I am very proud of little J that he is already drinking water from the cup by now, in fact, he started drinking of the cup since was 6-7months (it was a smaller cup back then).

Other obvious skills that J mastered when he was 7-8 months was responding to his own name and pull himself to standing position. Wow.. mommy is so proud of you little J. :)

Pumpkin Porridge

Today is the first time I cook pumpkin porridge for little J. I was planning to make just enough for J and me, perhaps a little extra so Daddy can have it too (not sure if Daddy likes to eat pumpkin porridge though).

Like I said, it is the first time I am cooking this so.. as expected, nothing went wrong, just a something unexpected happened. :P Guess what it is? Well.. it's not a big deal.. just a BIG POT!! I followed my mom's instruction, however, I just don't understand why the longer I cook, the bigger pot it becomes.. That's really like a good deal.. Hahaha.. :P

The BIG pot aside, the most important thing that I wanna point out in here is that.. J LOVES IT!! YAY!!! I am of course very very happieeeee.. :))

On The Floor

I tried putting J on the floor in the living, since it is finally wiped clean by the maid. (Ya, I know, but what to do since th emaid only come once a week!)

He was sitting happily trying the texture of the floor - he touched it, hit it and basically anything you can think of. :P

I tried to lure him into crawling position however he refused. I think he can sense danger - he knows the floor is really hard and it is no fun falling onto it. :P

So, I tried putting him into crawling position and guess what happened? He pushed himself up, and he didn't wanna move at all! Then, he lifted up one of his hand and cried!!! I think he feels the floor is dirty. :P

Then, I tried to put him on sleepign position on the floor.. Gosh, he cried again!! Not until I put him onto sitting position (just like me), he stopped crying and then turned to me and hugged me. LOL

Cooperation :-)

About one to two months ago, whenever I help J to wipe his neck, he will turn his face to one side to let me wipe it clean. When I am done, he will automatically turn to the other side so I can wipe the other side. How amazing!??!! :))

Now, he learned something new. For the passed two weeks, when I help J to change clothes, he will give me his left hand, followed by the right hand. If he was holding something at that time, he will quickly pass the object to one hand and give me the other, and vice versa. :-)

The only things that he still doesn't wanna cooperate with me are:-

1. He always turn around during diaper changing, I tried giving him his toys while doing so, it WORKED!! and yes, it's -ed (past tense), it no longer works now. The only thing that still can tame him is my cellphone, but my phone always gets flooded with his saliva.. :-(
2. He still doesn't like to let me wipe his face, most of the time he will turn away and if I insist, he will cry.
3. He always cry whenever I feed him solid. He will entertain me for a while, after like 3-7spoons, he will turn away. Next, he will be crying on his highest pitch until I gave up and carry him. I really don't enjoy his feeding time.. :-(

J's New Fav Food

Recently, I bought a pack of Sunsweet Pitted Prunes for snack. Since it was not too sweet, I let J taste it and J just fell in love with it.

Everytime I open the cap of the can, he will give me the kind of look that he wants it too.. yes, with no mercy, he will slightly open his mouth and climb to me and hmmm.. you know what he wants!! :P

It is a surprise to me that he can finished one prune at a time.. and I think prunes are quite good for health (in moderation), I give him a prune a day to supplement to his daily nutrition.. ;)

A Very Good Boy :)

I am very happy today despite I am sick - got nose block and sorethroat. :(

Let's not focus on the sickness.. yeah, I am very happy because J has been a very good boy today. He has been less cranky. Not just that, he slept and played cheerfully.. :))

Guess what's the most astonishing achievement J did today? Hmmm.. this is something I never expected too.. Ummm.. It is.................. J pulled himself up!!!! YAY!!!

Even though it was barely for a second, but he attempted and he did it. I am so proud and happy with his achievement. He is so brave, even though he still hasn't crawled properly.. Hehe..

It made my day.. WooHooo~~

Bidding Farewell

Today, J has finally showing us his new skills - bidding farewell. He started to move his hands farewell whenever we say 'bye bye'.

As a mommy, I am so happy to witness his newly acquired skill.. I know there are more happiness coming along the way with my little baby growing up healthily, happily and cheerfully..

Dairy Free & Eggless Diet

Up to today, it has been like a week or so I am on this wholly new diet - dairy free and eggless diet! J's face has shown tremendous improvement since then.

J's face has totally cleared out yesterday. And for some reason, there is a little bit of rashes showing on his little chubby cheek..

Accessing back, the only food that I have taken differently was the instant noodle, which I took on Sunday late night for supper. And J's rashes come back on Monday midnight/Tuesday morning when we woke up.

I really hope it's not due to the instant noodle for there is not much food variety left for me to eat.. and I love the instant noodle "Mi Goreng" from Myojo and Indomie.

God, please help.. kindly make sure that these two instant noodles are egg-free and dairy-free..

Sitting Steadily

Finally, the time has come.. Jayden is now able to sit steadily without support. What an achievement for my little one. :) And yes, after sitting now what? Crawling.. He started showing signs of crawling by having his mini crawls.. so far, the most he can crawl is about 3 feet, and he gets tired easily. Many times, he will cry (not as in crying, but cry as in calling for help!) for help when he's running out of strenght. How cute.. :P

Falling.. :((((((

This morning, my little J fell off the bed again! I am so worried and felt so guilty. I believe honey felt really guilty too..

It happened when I was still sleeping and honey was in the bathroom brushing teeth.. Reason being J is getting more and more mobile and he especially loves to roll and turn on the bed, yup, even in his sleep.

I didn't know how the incident happened as I was deep asleep, but the next thing I know was the pillow which honey used to block J from falling (which failed!!) was on the floor, and J was ON THE FLOOR too!! :((((

This time is not as lucky as before, J has bruise on his face. Other than that, I couldn't find any other bruise, but my concern is those unseen injury. Fingers crossed there is none..

On 4 Limbs :)))

Finally managed to capture a picture of J on 4 limbs.. It is really hard to catch him doing this because he is so camera sensitive.. He will just stop doing everything he was doing at anytime whenever he saw me with my phone/camera.. Our little friend knows stuffs.. hehe.. :P

Stung by Mosquito!! :(((

This morning, J's right ear was swollen!! It was so terrible that we need to bring him to the Doc!!
It was then confirmed by the Doctor that J was stung by a mosquito. The stupid mosquito not just bit on his ear but on his head too, about 2 inches away from his ear.

I swear I will get the mosquito killed if I ever saw it in my room. But hell, it escaped few times from my hand so I ended up buying the mosquitoes repellent from the hypermart. :P

I hate to post this picture.. but well.. it does make J looks more like a Mickey Mouse.. sigh.. :((((

Holiday @ Bukit Tinggi

We went for a getaway at Bukit Tinggi during the weekends with Ten's family - Wilson, Elaine & E-Zen. :)

I has a totally wrong perception abot Bukit Tinggi. I thought the weather is cold.. well at least cool, but it wasn't. It was so warm during our stay there.

Anyway, other than the warm weather and lousy food, we did find some enjoyment. We enjoyed the garden view of our room, took a lot of pictures @ Colmar Tropicale French Village, abused J's Buggy @ Japanese Garden (we used it like a Hummer!!!), surprised by the size of the so-called Botanical Garden, and amused by the number of rabbits @ the Rabbit Park. :P

Other than that, we did enjoy a lot of fun time with our baby JJ. This video was taken in our hotel room @ Colmar Tropicale. JJ was playing with Mommy.... :)))))
