Where is Stitch??

I figure out that I have forgotten to post a blog about Stitch. Thus am doing it now.

Do you still remember when I introduced Stitch as the new addition to JJ's toys family?? Well, initially JJ was so afraid of Stitch that he always cried whenever we showed Stitch to him.. However, after the second day Stitch survived in our family (hehe), Stitch became JJ's favorite toy of all!!!

JJ is now so engrossed with Stitch that he knows at once when we talk about Stitch. Whenever we asked him "Where is Stitch??", he will quickly stop everything he is doing at the moment and look for this.. He will look here look there, flip there flip there and sit here sit there (keep changing his sitting position) to look for Stitch.

When he spotted Stitch, he will crawl over and grab Stitch, grab it and toss it (trying to get Stitch to make noise). :P

It's super cute to see him looking for Stitch. :-) How much I wish JJ will do the same when I ask him "Where is mommy!!??" Well, he is yet to learn.. Hmmm.....

White Studio Shooting

On Monday, we went to Hafiz's studio for a white studio session. It's been long delayed since almost 2 months ago, finally we made it. :)

We had loads and loads of fun taking the pictures, though it was super exhausting after the shooting session. Reason being that JJ just woke up when we went for the shooting, and he was still in his dreamland -----> BLUR BLUR.................

Thus, JJ wasn't being very friendly and didn't smile!! We had to tickle him so much in order to get some 'fake' smiles, which doesn't last long!! :S

However, guess it was too much tickling that after the shooting, JJ became so friendly and back to his normal self!! OMG!!! I was like... if only you were like this an hour earlier.... Haiz....

Detour

Today I found another new skill acquire by Jayden...

Jayden wanted to go to a location that has many things (not toys!!) that he was very interested to play with. I purposely blocked and sat in between so he couldn't cross over. Normally, he would do his best to climb over me to get to the things!! But today, he did it differently!

Instead of climbing over me and struggling with me, he made a detour!!! He climbed to a different direction, passed thru me and the things that were blocking him, went around the blockage, and got to the things he wanted. Yes! He did it so professionally and he knew his directions!!

I'd say.. Babies are REALLY SMART!!

New Addition to the Toys Family

I've got a few new members to JJ's toys family. May I present to you Stitch and Doggy (I don't know what's his name but it's a cute toy doggy of a German brand). and uhh.. I also bought a big clapper for JJ too.. All the new toys make sounds in their own ways.. :P

Personally, I have never like Stitch and I wonder why I would buy it.. Hehe.. Well, I thought JJ might like it even though I don't. But I was wrong, Stitch doesn't appear to be friendly to JJ.

From the moment I got Stitch inside my car, till the minute we went to bed last night, JJ was frightened and scared whenever I showed him Stitch. This is especially serious when Stitch made sounds, JJ will cry. :(

Towards the end of the day yesterday, JJ attempted to befriend with Stitch, however, I could tell that JJ still had a confused and worrisome expression on his face. Worse, we didn't have good sleep for the whole night. I bt JJ was having a bad dream!! A Nightmare with Stitch!! :'(

Not just that, this morning when I had JJ sleeping in the cradle, he kept crying every few minutes or so. Not long after, I realized that he was having a bad dream again!! He started to talked in his sleep!! In a language that I still yet to understand!! :-(

I have a Dream!!

I had a dream last nite!! It was my first dream about JJ.... WALKING!!

I guess I must be all too excited about JJ walking independently for 2 steps. Thus, I brought this piece of excitement to my dream too.. The dream started like this.....

We were playing in the living room, where I had JJ crawling on the floor, playing with his toys. :) As usual, JJ would climb and hold on me to stand up, then he let go of his hands and started walking clumsily but slowly.. one.. two.. three.. four... five.... six... seven.... Wow!! 7 steps!! I shouted in joy!

I thought he was gonna fall on his bum, but instead, he moved forward again.. and made it to 9steps.. after that, all the sudden.. he walked clumsily but fast.. furthering his counts to 20 steps and then it became faster and faster that he was almost running and it turned so fast that he was drifting!!!

OMG! That's madness.. I woke up laughing at my own dream.. What a SILLY but FUN dream!! :P

2 Baby-Steps

I'm shouting in amazement today!!

Jayden walked independently for 2 steps!!! Well after 2 steps, he fell on the bed.. Hahaha.. :P

JJ has been showing off his skills to stand independently for 5-7seconds since a few days ago. And today is a greater achievement.. he started with 1 step, and then 2 steps - all happened in today. So far, the best he can do is 2 steps forward which is I think is already excellent! :)

Not just that, towards the evening today (which was just now), he climbed from my bed to the baby cot! And I didn't know how he did that!!! :P

Response to Hand!

The day started as usual today. JJ woke up at 7am something and I tried to put him back to bed, which he did. But in less than an hour, he woke up again and this time he refused to go back to sleep. I could tell he's still sleepy but I also knew he was on a very playful mode.

I let him played for a while and bathed him after he pooped! Tried several attempts to get him back to sleep and now is almost 11.45am, he still doesn't wanna settle. I am so tired and have not started any of my chores, not even taking a shower!! :-(

For the first time, JJ responded when I use my hand and fingers to point at something.. Hmm.. I think this is a new stage for us to learn on showing and exposing JJ to the World of Wonders!! :-)

Feeling Imitation

Today Vicky (JJ's cousin sister) came to me and said.. "JJ's ears looks like Mickey from the back!!" Hmmmm.. How cute!! Hahaha... :P

However, today JJ display a new reaction. Bryan (JJ's cousin brother) was being beaten by his mom today due to his mischief. When JJ saw Bryan's mommy (sister in law) beating him, he screamed and cried a bit.. Maybe JJ was scolding my sister in law so she won't beat him.

And when Bryan was crying, JJ cried too.. I soothed JJ not to cry and then carried him and brought him to Bryan. This innocent little baby reached his hand on Bryan's head and stroke his hair.. Then, JJ reached his hand to Bryan's shoulder and stroke his back..

Awwww... such a cute little sweetie pie.. :)

Smart Little Brainy

These two days, Jayden starts to potray further reaction to NO. Previously, he will pause for a while and then continue doing whatever he was doing or intended to do.

Now, whenever I said NO, he will give me either one of two expression. It's either he will cry.. Hahaha.. Or he will............ listen!! :)

Yet the one thing that I found the funniest is this...

Whenever he wanna put something into his mouth, he will first peep at me, to see if I am watching him!!! If I am not watching him (I pretended to find out what's his reaction!), he will put the object into his mouth!!!! >.<

However, if he found out that I am watching him, he will smile at me and pretend nothing happens. If this going on for two to three times, he will start to lose his patience. What he will do next is..... turn position!! He will turn his sitting position facing another side (any other side) and then try to peep on me again. And this goes on and on.. >_<

Boy, I can't believe it.. for such a small young tiny little baby, JJ can show such a smart brainy little idea!!!! I am speechless.. it's really sooooo amazing!! Guess I can never underestimate what this little brainy knows.. he knows stuffs that I don't know... Hehehe.. :P

Drowning

I am feeling so guilty now!

Just now while preparing JJ to bathe, I forgot to take the towel to my side. So I placed JJ on the floor (as usual) to play for a while. Meanwhile, I went to grab the towel (it's just few steps away).

By the time I am stepped back to where JJ was, he was already standing holding on the tub. When I was hanging up the towel, JJ tumbled with his head and upper body fell into the water. He was drowning!!!!!!!!! I was screaming inside!

Quickly, I bent down and carried him up holding him tight to soothe him. He was crying in shocked. :(

I hope he will get over with it soon and forget it fast so he won't bring it to his sleep. It's indeed a nightmare! :(

Swinging Legs

There is always one thing that JJ will do whenever he feels "Shiok" (feel good, or in Cantonese it's called feel "song"), that is to swing his legs!! :)

It is indeed very cute whenever he does that. Normally, he will do that when someone is calling his name and playing with him (while he is sitting on a high chair, being carried, etc).

You can tell that his feeling is on happy mood. :)

Baby Talk

Crawling Up Staircase

Today, JJ went out with Mommy! :)
We went to Maxis center to get my SIM card change. The old one was spoilt!! Thank God I can get a new one like immediately. We also went to collect a good from a customer (on behalf of Daddy!). And JJ had been a good boy while travelling. Hehehe.. :)

Not only that, JJ potrayed a new skill. He climbed up the staircase!!! Umm.. I mean by crawling of course. Hehehe.. Not just that, JJ also ransacked my room today.. He crawled to everywhere he can crawl, pull on everything he can pull, swept everything he can sweep (with his hands to the floor).. I was sooooo busy keeping up with him!

I think the nightmare of keeping up with him fulltime is approaching soon!!! :P
